2026 GRANTS The aim of the Waima Topu B Trust educational grants is to assist shareholders and their descendants to fulfil their potential for educational success, and encourage applicants to contribute their skills towards improving the well being of whānau and hapū from Waima. Waima Topu B Trust educational grants are available to all shareholders and their descendants who are registered with Waima Topu B Trust and formally enrolled in an approved secondary school, university, polytechnic, institute of technology, wānanga or private training establishment Waima Topu B Trust educational grants are available for study at:
PROCESSApplications will be considered by a panel appointed by the Waima Topu B Trust whose decisions will be final and binding. No correspondence will be entered into on these matters.
Applications are vetted to ensure eligibility criteria are met. All applicants will receive notification of application receipt, and/or if applicable, requests for further information from the Waima Topu B Trust. The applications will be considered by a panel of Waima Topu B Trustees whose decision will be final and binding. No correspondence will be entered into on these matters. SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTSAll successful applicants will be notified and allocated the appropriate disbursement in late April 2026.

NOTE: Students enrolled in FREE courses or are receiving FEES FREE support are not eligible to apply for a grant. SELECTION CRITERIAEducational grants are available to shareholders (and their descendants) of the Waima Topu B trust.
To be eligible for a grant, applicants must be enrolled at a secondary school, trade training or tertiary institution, whichever is relevant to their application. Applicants undertaking trade training part-time or at night-school may also be considered. Other things to note:
